🎙️ Episode 1: The First Lap

Host: Alexander Wiener
Release Date: [Insert Release Date]

In this raw and emotional premiere, Alexander takes the mic solo to reflect on what brought him to this moment. From growing up surrounded by engines and race fuel to the lessons his late father passed down, Episode 1 sets the tone for the journey ahead.

You’ll hear stories about his early racing days, how life nearly pushed him off course, and how he’s now rebuilding both behind the wheel and behind the mic. It’s not just about racing — it’s about life, legacy, and never lifting, no matter what.

"This podcast isn’t just therapy for me — it’s a place for anyone who’s fought to stay in the race." — Alexander

Meet the Hosts

🎙 Meet the Host: Alexander Wiener

Handle: @a.wiener33 | Platform: PC, iRacing, Assetto Corsa | Location: San Marcos, Texas, USA

Team Role: Founder of Kyoto Motorsport · Professional Driver & Coach · Podcast Host
Sim Gear: Moza R12 with real deep dish NRG rim

Favorite Cars & Tracks:
The Porsche 911 GT3 RS (992) is home. Nürburgring Nordschleife is the proving ground.
If it’s fast, technical, and brutal — Alexander’s already breaking records on it.

What Drives Him:
From simulators at age nine to real race cars across America, Alexander has spent a lifetime chasing tenths and teaching others how to find theirs. His story isn’t just about speed — it’s about resilience. From overcoming family challenges and rebuilding from setbacks, to founding Kyoto Motorsport and raising the next generation of racers (including his own daughter), every part of his life feeds back into his mission: turning passion into performance.

Now, with over 35 championships under his belt, real-world coaching experience, and lap records across Porsche platforms, he's using his voice — and this podcast — to share not just racing stories, but real stories.

In 10 Years?
Still on track — but from the pit wall. Alexander plans to be the head of Porsche’s racing development program, mentoring elite drivers and building machines that make history. Against the Apex will be a legacy — part documentary, part therapy session, part war cry for underdogs with a dream.

“I’ve lost races. I’ve lost people. But I’ve never lost my drive. Racing isn’t what I do — it’s who I am.”

Fun Fact:
Alexander’s daughter, Rose, is already following in his footsteps — racing karts, getting straight A’s, and proving the bloodline is built for podiums.

🎙 Meet the Host: James Smith

Handle: Kyoto RX | Platform: Xbox, PSN | Location: Talladega, Alabama, USA

Team Role: Lead Xbox Division Driver · Streamer · Content Creator
Sim Gear: Logitech G920 with shifter & pedals

Favorite Car & Track:
1990s Mazda Miata NA — light, nimble, and full of soul.
Dream track? The legendary C-Course in Japan — home of that iconic jump drift.

What Drives Him:
James was raised around cars. His dad taught him the difference between a badge and a build — passing down car magazines and naming models on road trips like it was second nature. That passion evolved into sim racing, where James turned his dream into digital reality: stacking seat time and sharpening skills for the day he can link those corners IRL.

“I told myself: if I want to be an FD driver, I better start now. Sim time is seat time. That’s how you earn your line — and that’s how you earn respect.”

In 10 Years?
James sees himself wrenching on a track car, raising a family, and building a life that balances real-world dreams with behind-the-wheel grit. Whether it’s in sim or real life, the goal never changes: get better, get closer, and get to the podium.

"Give me time and money, and I’ll put myself on every platform. One day, I’ll be side by side with James Deane — and I’ll be holding that trophy saying, ‘I made it happen.’"

Fun Fact:
No matter what, James keeps his head high. Give him a challenge, and he’ll chase it down — full throttle.

Socials & Custom Art:
You can find James streaming on Twitch, painting custom shoes and rugs, or just talking cars.
